Job Description
AECOM is seeking for an experienced Project Planning & Scheduling Specialist III for employment in Bogota, Colombia.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provides analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues.
Assists in coordination of schedule input from all parts of the organization.
Expert ability to develop CPM schedule logic for engineering, procurement, and construction.
Knowledgeable in earned value methodology.
Conducts or assists in performance measurement and associated schedule trends.
Able to resource load schedule and perform remedial schedule risk analysis.
Updates and produces scheduling management reports.
Participates in and at times leads project planning and scheduling review meetings.
Identifies and analyzes schedule variances and recommends/tracks associated corrective action.
Reviews purchase orders and subcontract schedule status and evaluates subcontract performance.
Knowledgeable of scope control, change management and ability to incorporate directed changes into the baseline.
Assists in the development and maintenance of WBS, ensuring that project coding is used for all applications.
Familiar with basic cost analysis and forecasting as it relates to planning and scheduling.
Able to use drawings and specifications for schedule development.
Supports the development of plans and schedules for proposals.
Assists in leading junior staff through assignment tasks.
Assists in procedure development and implementation.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
8+ years’ professional experience in engineering and procurement projects
8+ years’ professional experience in Planning & Scheduling (Project Controls)
Primavera P6 and Advanced MS Excel experience (Pivot Tables)
English fluency (Level C1 or C2)
Experience in transportation design projects (airports, highways, rail systems, and tunnels)
Software experience including Oracle, MS Project, Autocad and Navisworks
